Focusing somewhat on music, I'd like to share with you some new artists that I feel should be heard. If you know of any indie or obscure music that you feel needs some attention, pleas let the group know. Personally, I'm always looking for new music to listen to.

I just found a singer/songwriter who is so good, she makes me look like fool for tryin' ... She's on myspace... "Terra Naomi" ... the song in particular that grabbed me was "Say It's Possible". There is a video of her doing it live and WoW! I'm a huge fan. Her voice is incredible. Her writing too.
Sometimes I really wish I started this earlier. My humble efforts just pale in comparison )-;

That's a great trio! I saw Shawn Colvin play with David Gray opening years ago. At that time nobody knew much about David...He was great! And, of course, Shawn was fantastic. I will look for this recording that you mentioned.

Patty Griffin ... from her debut album, on to Flaming Red, to 1,000 Kisses, to her most recent, Children Running Through. She teams up with Emmylou Harris and Shawn Colvin, etc... has been around for qutie a while but only now, gaining more notoriety in a highly public way. The songwriting community has considered her a gem for some time now (-; She is my IDOL!!!
